Postdoctoral Researchers

We regularly have 1 – 2 positions for new postdoctoral researchers. We open to work with scientists from different areas in nanotechnology, solid-state physics, and future electronics. Please contact Prof. Chiu if you are interested.

Ph.D. Students

We regularly have 1 – 2 PhD positions for students who have completed master study with solid academic background in one of the following areas: (i) low-dimensional materials synthesis, (ii) electronic device fabrication, and (iii) solid-state physics. Please contact Prof. Chiu if you are interested.

Master Students / Undergraduates

Conducting research is a fantastic way to learn, expand, and apply your knowledge. Students can expect to learn the basics in condensed matter physics (electronic structure theory and quantum transport theory) and nanoelectronics. People with programming skills, such as Python, Julia, machine learning, GUI development or HTML/CSS/Javascript are also welcome. Please submit your research interest (What research topic you are most interested in) and CV (The courses you have taken) to Prof. Ya-Ping Chiu
